Pottery & Glass / Decorative Cookware, Dinnerware & Serveware / Tea & Coffee Pots
Wedgwood Windsor Black Teapot and Lid - Bone China, Made in England From my research, I believe this piece was made in 1989. Teapot is inspected thoroughly, and appears to be in excellent condition with no major damage or chips. The only thing I noticed is that the knob on has a slight separation from the lid (see last photo); I believe this is just because of how they attach the knob to the lid, but I wanted to describe it as best as I can. I looked very closely a couple times for scratches and wear, and could not find anything except a few tiny scratches to gloss, maybe one or two tiny worn specks to the design, and just the gray scuffing to the unglazed bottom rim of base. Measurements (approximate): Height (bottom to lid): 6" - 6 1/4" Length (handle to spout): 9 1/2" Diameter (middle of teapot): 6" Base diameter: 3 7/8" To pack for shipping, I will double box, bubble wrap the teapot and lid separately, surround them on all sides with biodegradable packing peanuts with a slight amount of pressure when closing the box (not too much, just enough so that the pieces don't move), and seal the box with reinforced gum tape, which is stronger than normal packing tape.
