MIKASA ITALIAN COUNTRYSIDE DD900 4 WHITE STONEWARE LARGE RIM SOUP

Nice set of 4 Mikasa "Italian Countryside" DD900 large Rim Soup Bowls which are in good used condition with no chips, cracks, crazing or discoloration; however they do have utensil scratching and 1 bowl does have a very tiny dot (flaw) in bowl area (see last photo).  These bowls are perfect for soup, stew or chili and even large salads and measure 9 1/4 inches in diameter and are 1 3/4 inches in height.  None are marked as being made in Malaysia, so I believe they are all older bowls made in Japan.  Mikasa introduced Italian Countryside in 1994 and I believe it is still active; however, it is quite popular and the most difficult of the 3 "countryside" patterns to find on the resale market.  The pattern is very reminiscent of Wedgwood's Edme and is a timeless design of embossed ribs and scrolls that works well in both formal and casual settings.  Italian Countryside is the most expensive of the countryside patterns on the resale market and I've priced these at a fraction of resale sites.  I have other pieces listed in Italian Countryside and would be glad to combine shipping for multiple purchases. 1.  All items I sell either come from or have been stored in a smoke free environment and are sold “as-is”.   All items I sell are cleaned, washed, ironed and/or polished as necessary – I do not sell dirty items.   I photograph and describe in detail to the best of my ability. I will be glad to combine multiple purchases to save on shipping costs where feasible.  If you wish to make a multiple purchase please contact me before paying for items so I may figure correct shipping and send you an accurate invoice.  Packages are shipped with tracking and/or insurance. 3.
