Pottery & Glass / Decorative Cookware, Dinnerware & Serveware / Cup & Saucers
These are 3 antique (or almost antique) sets of Tea Cups, Saucers and Dessert plates made by ROYAL DAULTON in the pattern called Old Leeds Sprays. This pattern was made between 1912 and 1940. They are in very good antique shape, with no cracks or chips, minimal crazing. I actually don’t see any crazing, but be aware there could be some, since these are 85-110 years old. They are an interesting octagonal shape, edged in green with hand painted sprays of red, yellow, and blue flowers and ribbons, sometimes painted blue, sometimes red. The handles are unique too, they are squared off, with a green trellis design hand painted on them. The bottoms of the cups are also octagonal, as is the place the cups rest on the saucer. The dessert plate is 6 & 1/2 inches in diameter, the saucer is 5 & 1/2 inches, and the cup is 3 & 3/8 inches. The cup stands about 2 inches high when not on the saucer. Each set of cups plus saucers plus dessert plates weigh about 13 ounces. Please zoom in on the pictures for a closer look (I am showing all 3 sets individually, not the same pictures over and over so you can see the individual pieces, and turning the cups 90 degrees for 4 shots so you can see all sides) and the 360 degree video too. I pack with lots of bubble wrap for safe shipping. Any questions, please ask and thanks for looking!
