36p Vintage Mikasa Grande Ivory Tropez Japan Ceramic Porcelain Partial China Set

please note! this is a used set: there is a small chip on one of the dinner plates (4 mms at very widest). and, when you hold it just right to the light, the dinner plate pieces show marks from silverware on their surface. this can only be seen if you are holding them up to a light and trying to see them: i made that image very high contrast and darker to make the lines as visible as possible. on the underside of the serving bowl, there are a couple of indents to the porcelain, but they are also under glaze so came out of the factory that way. see second image. according to replacements.com, this pattern is now discontinued: it ran from 1982–94. set has a total set of 36 pieces. there are some pieces with 8, 5, 4, and 1. see below for dimensions and number of each kind of piece. the pieces are very pretty with a floral/foliate motiff and a rim in a sort of dark periwinkle that reminds me of theater curtains or maybe of the inside of the very first art noveau building, which is in belgium, the hôtel tassel (see last image). each is marked in gold on the base with (see third image)

they are 6" in diameter and the rim sits 3/4" above the surface on which the dish rests. bread plates there are a total of 6 of these.
they are 7 1/2" in diameter and the rim sits 3/4" above the surface on which the dish rests. thick rimmed salad or shallow soup bowl there are a total of 8 of these.
